MEET THE INSTRUCTORS
Kevin first caught the magic bug when he was eight years old and has been hooked ever since! Kevin’s been a full-time entertainer for the past 12 years, performing for tens of thousands of people as Presto the Magician! His favorite thing about performing is seeing the way it makes people feel and the joy and fun he’s able to share through performing.
Kevin’s teaching style combines interactive fun, his unique comedy style, and his ability to break down complex processes to help every student succeed. Kevin has a genuine interest in helping each child succeed and an ability to find how to best draw out their strengths.
Jannene has the distinct advantage of having worked behind the scenes in the magic community for year as well as having nearly 20 years in education.
Her degree in Elementary Education prepared her for teaching in a classroom setting, as well as online through virtual learning in 2020. She loves connecting with kids in a small group setting and letting them shine as they learn magic. Seeing them build confidence is one of her favorite things about teaching Discover Magic.

Get ready to take an amazing adventure into the exciting world of magic!
We offer four full wand courses, each with completely different magic tricks and a unique focus, and all four courses reinforce the exact same eight traits: A true magician is: Respectful, Prepared, Enthusiastic, Confident, Humble, Creative, Authentic, and Giving.
In this course students will not only learn the eight basic effects that make up all magic tricks. Learn how to read people’s minds, make money appear out of nowhere and travel through time with a magic bandana just to name a few.
In this course students will learn the three parts that make up a magic trick with a special focus on presentation. Learn how to teleport objects across the room, find hidden magical treasures and levitate a cup of popcorn just to name a few!
In this course students will not only learn the eight secret magic principles that make all magic tricks possible. Learn how to cut a lady in half, give your friends super hero powers and make invisible objects appear in a magic pencil pouch just to name a few!
In this course students will learn the different types of magic from dinner table tricks to big stage illusions. Learn how to move objects with your mind, make a monkey appear and operate a time machine just to name a few.
Much like different colored karate belts, students earn a different colored graduation wand and a certificate of advancement after completing each course. They can be taken in any order.
